Q: What is Reviewers Unknown?
A: Reviewers Unknown is a site for lesser known reviewers to share their content. We do in the near future hope to expand beyond just having review shows, to having a wider variety of internet content but for the moment we’re focusing on reviewers. And yes, there are already quite a few sites out there with a collection of reviewers involved in them. Most notably probably being thatguywiththeglasses.com. However every site has a limit to how many people they can really justify taking in before it feels over saturated. It eventually gets to the point where it doesn’t really matter how good you are, even if you’re possibly better then some of their current members. You won’t get in simply because there are too many people already.
We are also considerably more laid back then some of the other review sites out there, being far less demanding of our members.
Q: Can one of you guys review <Insert Title Here>?
A: The best place to ask something like this of us would be to check over on our forums.
Q: Can I join Reviewers Unknown?
A: While we certainly don’t want to discourage people from applying, we now have roughly 30 crew members and must be a bit more selective about making further additions. Any new contributors must offer something very unique in order to be considered. If you are still interested in applying to the site feel free to send info about your show as well as a link to your content to Chris the Nerd at christhenerd92NOSPAM@yahoo.com as he is currently in charge of recruitment. (Please be sure to remove the NOSPAM from the address first.)
Q: What is the Guest Videos section?
A: The Guest Videos section is for videos that were not done by official contributors to the site. These are videos we either thought were really good (and asked permission) or are videos that someone asked us to share for them. Naturally whether or not we put something in this section is completely up to us and we don’t really have a specific criteria for it.
Q: If you become popular won’t being called Reviewers Unknown not make sense?
A: You could look at it that way. But it could also be seen as sort of a symbol of our success. If we really do become a more successful site, it could be seen a symbol of our victory by defying the odds and climbing up from nothing.
Q: Wait! I have another question, or something weird is going on with the site!
