New Stuff: Blood Splattered Cinema: The Beyond

This week the Horror Guru takes on the second installment of Lucio Fulci‘s Gates of Hell Trilogy: The Beyond, a.k.a Seven Doors of Death. But as the film rolls on, the real question becomes not whether The Beyond will survive the review but whether The Guru will survive The Beyond. Stay tuned, my fellow gore hounds. This one might get interesting.



The Beyond was directed by the late, great Lucio Fulci, written by Dardano Sacchetti and stars such class acts as Catriona Maccoll, David Warbeck and Cinzia Monreale. It’s fantastic score was written by the man, the myth, the legend: Fabio Frizzi and the film can be found on DVD now thanks to Grindhouse Releasing. =)
