Thanks for posting it on here. Your Blip videos are much more tolerable to watch on here than your Blip channel since my computer sucks a lot and is pretty buggy when their on there. Now, what are your opinions on Tim Buckley as a person? I’ve heard that he has a big ego, which seems to answer why he would let this become an animated series. And even if this did become a TV show, do you think other webcomics would be adapted into such of middling quality?

    • TheHeroOfTomorrow says:

I don’t know anything about Buckley as a person, but I really hope shows of such terrible quality wouldn’t be made.

Cause personally–I’d love to see an animated Megatokyo series, just not with the quality of THIS animated abomination.

You want an awesome webcomic animated? Snafu’s Grim Tales From Down Below,PPGD,(which thanks again for introducing it to people who might not have heard of it) or Sugar Bits. I’d really like to see Bleedman’s art style animated. And you want to know the worst part? I paid for this crap! Granted,it was long ago, when I didn’t know any better, but still, you get my point.

    Some notes on CAD:

The guy with the chef’s outfit is Chef Brian. The entire point of his character is that he is completely and utterly random. He first emerged when Buckley was about to miss a deadline, and has shown up whenever Buckley is out of video game jokes ever since. Gotta say, I like the voice they went with there.

General consensus is that, even with the plot arcs in the comic, nobody has grown or changed one bit. Ethan is still a total ponce, Lucas is still a nitwit, and Lilah is still only there for her looks. And the “miscarriage” arc is one of the biggest jokes on the Internet.

Nobody’s sure how the second season got made, given that Blind Ferret put out a message amounting to “We really regret making this” after Season One.

I don’t read many webcomics (my only constant is Surviving the World), but nothing I’ve seen of Ctrl+Alt+Del has made me see it in any different light than the usual opinion of “Kill it with fire”.

    • TheHeroOfTomorrow says:

Maybe, but it was the closest thing to an idea for character development that we found while researching this…so in other words, the comic fucked things up before the series did? Damn.

Also, I was going to mention this in the Worst Mistakes list that’ll come out later, but apparently the reason that BFE only gave it two seasons was because it nearly cost them their jobs to get that far, and they quit after the end of Season 2 was made. So yeah–everything this series touches dies.
