I have some questions for you, Writrzblok:
*This episode is great because it shows that you are continuing to fill in the need for reviews of 1980s comics. Will you continue to review 1980s comics, as well as expand your focus to include comics from the 1940s to the 1970s? (Which is neccessary for a ‘Origins Month’!)
*You reviewed ONLY ONE comic book not published by the ‘big two’ (Frank Miller’s Holy Terror). Will you review more independent comics?
* I am looking forward to the review of the 1989 Punisher movie. Any more crossovers?
Here is a list of upcoming comics that you should check out:
*New Crusaders: Rise of the Heroes #1 (Archie Comics. On Sale August 22. Archie Comics had a heroic hit this year with ‘Stan Lee’s Mighty 7′. They are going to swing for the fences with this one!)
*Adventures of a Comic-Con Girl #1 (of 3. Antarctic Press. On sale August 29. Great fun!)
* Archer & Armstrong #1 (Valiant. On sale August 9. The NEW Valiant Era is here, and FRED VAN LENTE is part of it!)
*Soulfire Volume 4 #1 (Aspen. On sale August 1. This is great!)
Jeremy.
Am I going to review any more 80′s comics? It’s likely, especially since the next episode is an 80′s comic. But I also do want to review the newer issues, as well.
Will I continue to review older comics in general? If one strikes my fancy, then absolutely. Hell, Hercules Prince of Power was from the seventies. I have comics in my backlog that go well into the 50′s and 60′s (nothing that would make me rich by their selling, unfortunately).
Will I review more comics not published by the big two? Most certainly. There’s plenty of independent of non-Marvel/DC series that I absolutely adore.
Any other crossovers planned? Yes, I am guest-starring on a fellow RU contributor’s show in the near future and I am going to be reviewing “JLA/Predator” with MsNightmare.
Certainly. I will take a look at your suggestions when I have the time.
Thanks for the comments!
That was awesome! I am looking forward to the next part! Well done, darling!
Thank you so much, honey!
Another thing is that this year is also the anniversary year of several independent books and companies:
*AC Comics is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year!
*As is First Comics, as they are returning to publication!
*Ninja High School is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year!
I hope you do something to remember them!
Jeremy.
